Apple introduces iOS 13 in WWDC 2019 early Jun which brings many improvements for your daily apps comparing the previous iOS12. There are Top 5 iOS 13 Features that you cannot skip today!
Within 2 hours, it’s not enough time the mention all the new features, so Apple lists all on the slide and makes a little pause for every detail.
iOS 13 will be officially launched in fall 2019, you could update with iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. Let’s see Blablaphones’ top 5 features.
🙂 🙂 🙂
Top #5 keyboard & Speed
Keyboard! Now you could swipe on the keyboard in your iPhone from one letter another letter which makes it a word without removing your finger from the screen.
I kinda feel like NOT very surprising since Android keyboard has this feature for a very long time, such as Google keyboard? Haha… But it’s better than nothing. I personally like the type longer messages the communicate well with others, so it’s nice and helpful indeed.
(You could swipe type now for longer sentences now with iPhones.)
Speed!! Apps launch up the 2x faster in iOS 13, it’s really hard the notice since you may miss it when you blink or get distracted by other stuff then you won’t find it’s truly 2x faster now in iOS13.
Face ID Unlocking iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR is up to 30 % faster. iOS 12 is faster than any other previous versions, so it’s still welcome we all have a faster unlocking experience with iOS 13.
While I think of the speed performance, Apple must try harder the downsize for all updates and the app package in App store. You must have this situation that you wait a very long time your phone is updating and stuck in the same place.
Yeah! Apple mentions that future apps from the App Store will be downsized which makes them up to 50% smaller and all future app updates will be up to 60% smaller on average too.
What good news for impatient users like me!
(Facial unlock is getting 2x faster this year in iOS 13.)
Top #4 Audio Sharing
I love Audio Sharing since I find it quite interesting when traveling or stuck somewhere without any entertainment the amuse yourself.
In this helpless case, Apple shows a photo that two people sit next to each other and hold their iPhones the share what one person actually listens and the other one listens the same.
So, we might imagine many possibilities of Audio Sharing. My first thought is the share the playlist of my friends Spotify or Apple music, especially we are both waiting for friends who are always late. Right?
Or, when you work out with your gym mates today, and you share the same music to boost morale and achieve the goal for your chest or leg day today!
Moreover, you may use this new feature to watch the same movie without only listening to the the sound with one of airpods, now both of you could get a better experience! GREAT!
(Audio sharing is the new highlight of your airpods.)
Top #3 Sign in with Apple
For security issue, people get more and more concern if your own personal data falls on the wrong hands, it might turn badly in the end. In iOS 13, just tap “Sign in with Apple,” use Face ID or Touch ID, and you’re all set.
It’s similar when you create a new account for a new website or app with “Sign with Google” or “Sign with Facebook”. Apple will use the data you store for Apple ID the do the “log in” process for you.
From Apple’s keynote slides, it shows that Apple will automatically create some random email addresses the login and hide your original email address. When the website or app sends you something, Apple will be the intermediary and send your correct email.
Apple mentions that they don’t use the same random email the log in all different websites and apps, but create different random emails for different websites or apps.
Sounds like a very premium service that we must pay a couple of grand the enjoy in the real world. Once you update the iOS 13 this fall, you will have the same level service. Don’t miss it this fall.
(Sign in with Apple levels up the security of our personal information for any new websites or apps we want to sign up!)
Top #2 Photo App
The modes in the photo app become so human that organizes your photos by events or highlights. You will find there are “Years”, “Months”, “Days”, and “All Photos” options you may choose for the photo display.
The clear explanations from Apple for the updates for Photo app:
Year mode: rediscover your highlights for that certain year
Month mode: present your photos by events no matter big or small
Days mode: show your unique photos for that day
(You could choose the photo display modes by years, months, days for special occasions.)
The editing controls of photo app also become so smart. You can enhance the intensity for Exposure, Brilliance, Highlights, Shadows, Contrast, Brightness, Black Point, Saturation, and Vibrance. You could dig all day long to edit the photo as you want or just go for auto-adjustment, I prefer auto-adjustment directly 🙂
This editing also applies on videos, nearly everything you could do like on photos. So literally you can rotate, increase exposure, or even apply filters your videos which sounds very convenient to me. I don’t even need the download a third video editing app anymore. Woohoo 🙂
(You may dive deep for the new editing in Photo app, it becomes extensive and subtle.)
Top #1 Dark Mode
Now, we come the most HYPE part for iOS 13 – Dark Mode, everyone knows iOS 13 will definitely talk about. We all know that dark mode is very suitable for the low-light environment and perfect for your eyes.
Even some people might say it saves battery life also the keep them last longer than the normal mode. This might need the be confirmed by authorities.
I like in Dark Mode that every app still works so well without affecting user experiences comparing the normal mode. And in system-level view, like the setting menu looks so nice and clean in dark mode, sometimes I FEEL more luxury than before. (or just my illusions…)
I would love the turn dark mode on whenever I enter a dark place like theater or my bedroom after sunset the remind myself that my eyes need the take some rest now. 🙂 🙂 🙂
(Dark mode brings a beautiful look for iPhones. hmm…so pretty.)
The above is top 5 new features Blablaphones love for iOS 13, cannot wait until the update in this fall. I love the Dark Mode even it’s in the beta version, let’s expect the update release date together!!
