Top#1 Surface Duo

Windows phone is back, but this time they gave up the idea of running their own operating system. Surface Duo runs Android and based on the words from Windows chief product officer – Panos Panay, this is for a better user experience of windows & Android.

Surface Duo comes with two separate screens but connected by a hinge. Why is it not like Samsung Fold with only one screen? It’s because the technology couldn’t provide a smooth experience without actually breaking the screen itself.

(Windows Surface Duo comes with two screens and connected by two hinges!)

Top#2 Samsung Pay

On 3rd Oct, Samsung announced “Samsung Pay” could support international payment transfer to 47 other countries in the world. They also work with MasterCard and NetSpend for better cooperation and let you use a virtual prepaid card called “Samsung Pay Cash” for all the transfer.

Samsung’s move is recognized to compete with Apple Pay. Using Samsung Pay to transfer payment will have some benefits if you are a Samsung fan. The first one, you could have some Samsung Rewards by wiring the payment through Samsung Pay. The second, you may have the first-hand news of Samsung’s latest products and get the discounts ahead of others. Let’s wait for more to come in 2020.

Top#3 HTC’s first 5G phone

Htc’s Taiwan CEO gave good news that HTC will launch the very first 5G smartphone with a new full-screen design by Q1 2020. And, the greatest part of it would definitely connect HTC’s recent VR breakthrough on the 5G phone. This is rare in the industry now. Looks like we have something to expect soon and it might be the next thing in the smartphone industry. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Top#4 Motorola Razr

It’s a long while we didn’t hear from Motorola, right? I used to see many people around me using a Motorola phone when I was a kid. But, the time has changed everything. If you didn’t grasp the opportunity with the trend, the old giants might lose all very shortly.

Motorola is expected to launch this beauty in Mar’19. But, we wait till Oct and still not seeing this come to the world. Rumor has it that Motorola will introduce it by the end of 2019, so let’s wait and see the real phone. It’s not like the current left-right foldable(Samsung Fold), but an up-down fold phone which is beyond my imaginations.
